Summer is close and we’ll enter into the season of «get my hair off my neck». My default, like many of you, is to just pull it up into a ponytail. But this time I wanted to show you a different option that could look a bit more dressed up and special.

This option of a double-twist ponytail (or even more for a chignon) is just the perfect option for people like me – which doesn’t have a lot of time to spend on their hair and are tired of basic, boring ponytails.

This twisted ponytail is just perfect to keep in your every day hairstyle repertoire. It looks pretty and it’s done in just a couple of steps! This is absolutely perfect for days when you want to have a cute hairstyle, but don’t have a lot of time to spend getting ready. You can wear this hairstyle for every occasion and season. Follow the steps below to get the twisted ponytail (or chignon):

  1. Use the Dyson hairdryer to dry your hair. I think once you used your Dyson hairdryer, you won’t make it without it.
  2. Make a ponytail.
  3. Make an inside out ponytail. You do this by creating a little hole just above the elastic of the ponytail then you take the ponytail and you flip it trough from the outside to the inside.
  4. Repeat step 2 as much as you want your stlye should look like (for a twisted ponytail you should stop after rolling it up 1-2 times and for a chignon you can repeat this as much as possible).
  5. Lastly, secure everything with bobbypins!

btw. so many of you asked me if the Dyson hairdryer is really worth it, and I will be really honest with you: for me personally, it’s the best hairdryer I ever had! If you are unsure about purchasing it, try it out, and let the magic happen. Read more about the Dyson here.
